On the evening of Thursday, April 26, 2018 we celebrated Jennifer Richard who received the Champions of Character award bestowed by Sage Colleges. A table of Living Resources staff congregated at Franklin Plaza where Jennifer was honored at their annual banquet along with other educational leaders within the Capital Region.
The awesome Alumni Activities Club enjoys taking graduates to recreational adventures locally and even out-of-state. The alumni take the initiative to meet with staff once a month to propose activities and figure out the resources as well as the logistics to make them come to fruition.
On Sunday, April 8, 2018 a group of students and alumni of the College Experience joined the Saint Rose community for their third annual Autism U-Knighted Walk. The Autism Walk proceeds benefit the college’s Friday Knights Program that provides safe and fun activities for students to do in the evening.
On Saturday, April 7, 2018 students and alumni attended Comic Con in Albany with its endless parade of living legends, celebrities, voice actors memorabilia, nostalgia, costumes, and everything else that fills the dreams of those who love comic book folklore and a few other genres.

What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
Through our C2L Program, the College Experience support staff offers dedicated transition support and guidance, helping students in the year after graduation with apartment leases and job placements, and then literally forever after as members of the Living Resources community.
Since 2005, students enrolled in The College Experience have been a welcomed part of a coeducational college community located in Albany, New York. We partner with Russell Sage College, and our students are welcomed members of both Russell Sage’s Albany and Troy campus communities.
Students are offered a practical core curriculum and a wide variety of electives.
Our dorms are beautifully remodeled city residences located just a few blocks from Russell Sage’s Albany campus. Students live together in groups of 3 – 9. Each student has his or her own bedroom and share common living areas. Seniors serve as mentors to freshmen and assist them in many meaningful ways.
