The College Experience Program is available to out-of-state residents and students who do not qualify for the NYS Medicaid Waiver and SSI as a tuition-based option. Tuition includes room and board, academic classes, academic support, residential staffing, local transportation, and weekly groceries, and a small campus meal plan. All students receive their own fully furnished bedroom.
For students applying under Private Pay, financial resources are available. Families may use 529 Accounts, Special Needs Trusts, scholarships, and take out private college loans to help with funding. Financial resources and a list of scholarships can be found here.
Students are required to submit the following documentation along with the application and one-page essay:
