Our program is called The College Experience because that is exactly what it gives our talented students! The students have the advantage of a residential experience within the proximity of The College of Saint Rose and having access to all the resources on campus. On Saturday, February 17, 2018 many of the students chose to attend the Men’s Basketball Game in which the Golden Knights of Saint Rose battled the nationally ranked Le Moyne team.

Featured in one of the photographs is Xin who ran the concession stand with his co-workers, Joe Guerette and Isaiah Peace who both stated that Xin is “their best worker.”

In another photograph we have from front left to the back – Reed, Henry, Sam, Alecia, and Tyler! The students and staff of the College of Saint Rose have always offered supports to our students by embracing them on dance squads, internships in venues such as the Camelot Dining Hall, and by offering mentorship through the Best Buddies Program.

Unfortunately, the Golden Knights were unable to surmount the lead of Le Moyne. The students still had an awesome experience cheering with the other fans during the feverish excitement of the game, which was interspersed with cheerleading routines. The students have also been a vital presence in events such as Reach Out Saint Rose that sends out an average of 900-plus Saint Rose students, faculty, alumni, family and friends into the Capital Region where they make a difference as volunteers in places such as shelters and food banks!
