The alumni opted to enjoy Disney on Ice as skilled figure skaters recreated some of the most iconic scenes in animated Disney history. Who needs the Disney+ streaming network when the real thing is taking place practically in our own backyard?
The Alumni Activities Club once again ventured beyond the boundaries of the Capital Region all the way to New York City on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
The students of the College Experience gave themselves an early taste of the holiday euphoria that awaited them when they began their vacation one day later. On Monday, December 23, 2019 staff and students gathered at one of the houses to have their annual holiday party!
The students of the College Experience are stimulated by interactive learning experiences during a typical school day at the College of Saint Rose, but at the same time it is also important to factor in fun breaks and adventures in the community. This particular day on Friday, December 20th, brought students and staff to Crossgates Mall and the Colonie Center, as staff assisted them with their holiday shopping.
On the morning of Friday, December 13, 2019 the students of the College Experience gathered at St. Andrews Church under the direction of their Art instructor, Fern Pivar to create some wonderful tokens of the holiday season to hand out to their friends and loved ones.
Current students of the College Experience were out in full-force at the first annual Rights in Reflection event held in the main office of Living Resources, Inc. These students are proud members of the Rainbow Moon Club that meets at the College of Saint Rose where the College Experience is located.
The Alumni Activities Club recently traveled to New York City on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Staff led them to The High Line, which is a suspended footbridge that used to be a railroad line.
The College Experience is pleased to announce that Tor Kronbichler has recently started working at the Guilderland YMCA helping out with the Youth Basketball League every Friday afternoon, and may also start volunteering on Saturday mornings on occasion.
Living Resources, Inc. and the College Experience is once again impressed with the efforts of Alek Fisher who was recently selected to be a volunteer for the Stratton Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in downtown Albany.
