Not many people know how to party and “cut loose” like the College Experience. This is exactly what they did on the evening of Thursday, July 19, 2018! The Elks Club in Albany was kind enough to host all of the current students, alumni, and the participants of our first Summer Exchange Program, which officially ended this week.
In the spirit of summer, the theme of the semi-formal celebration was The Beach. Whether it was in Hawaiian shirts or elegant suits/gowns, students were dressed to impress from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Our talented DJ played their favorite songs from Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” We thank our admissions coordinator, Colleen Dergosits for spearheading the event as well as all the staff for their participation.
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
