Even during times of uncertainty, the show must go on as reasonable precautions are taken by our entire agency to help individuals enjoy life while avoiding large crowds. On that note, Jessica and Bill enjoyed an intimate and friendly crowd at the German American Club located on 32 Cherry Street; Albany, NY 12205 this past Friday, March 13, 2020.
Dinner consisted of a Saint Patrick’s Day dish with corned beef and steamed cabbage with three dessert samples. We also enjoyed music from an accordion player as well as the anecdotes from one of the long-time members celebrating her 100th birthday. (One of the things she credits for such longevity is drinking lots of tea!)
We thank the benevolent members of the German American Club for embracing our alumni and giving them an opportunity to socialize with other adults. We will definitely plan to come back in the near future to enjoy fine food and wonderful people sharing their culture with us! Stay safe everyone, but continue to enjoy life.
