On the date of Sunday, August 20th, 2023 we had the privilege of participating in the 2nd Annual “Tribute to Transforming Lives” Fashion Show at the 1863 Club located at the Saratoga Race Track. We had the privilege of seeing many models walk the runway including some of the individuals we serve.
Featured in the photo at the top is Danielle Passariello who commandeered the spotlight with her poise. The next photo is Danielle and her best friend, Catherine Chinery who both stole the show as models with their collective confidence. Catherine and Danielle were joined by many other beautiful ladies modeling some exquisite fashions including our own CEO Elizabeth Martin who will be featured in a separate social media entry.
We also had a small group of male models (photo left) including (left to right) Jesse Saperstein; David Lieberman (striped shirt and white pants); Brian (center with the green shirt); Christian Jones (back with sunglasses); and Regan (a.k.a. King Regan in the white shirt). They were joined in this photograph by Karl Cragnolin and Heidi West from the Union Hall Supply Company in Saratoga Springs, NY who provided the clothing for these male models. (David Lieberman is a 2018 College Experience graduate who is the first alumnus in the 18-year history of the program to become a staff member.
Beauty is not just about physical appearance and what someone is wearing. It is also about how someone carries themselves and how they treat others in society. Everybody who walked the long and windy runway throughout the banquet hall at the 1863 Club felt confident and beautiful! Best of all, the unpredictable weather we have been experiencing all summer showed
compassion during this important event as people went outside waiting for their horses to hopefully come in first or even achieve the elusive Trifecta Perfecta! We could not have asked for a more perfect outcome, for sure. The proceeds from this event were also divided between the not-for-profit, “Building on Love.”
See you next summer at the Saratoga Race Track!
