On Monday, August 10, 2020 the College Experience welcomed the incoming freshmen class to join the upper-classmen who have been settled back into campus life for the past few weeks! Featured in these photographs from left to right are Kevin Baker who is the Assistant Director of Residential Services and our Residential Manager, Malcolm Sidbury. Kevin, Malcolm, and the rest of the staff worked hard helping the new students settle into their new life while assisting the families with moving in all of the students’ belongings.
It is true that this “Moving-In Day” has been unlike any other in the fifteen year history of our program! Some things are very different, and other aspects have remained exactly the same. One thing is clear, however. We took as many protocols as possible to ensure the safety of our students during this unprecedented time with masks and social distancing. “Tough times do not last. Tough people do!” We are excited to see what awaits for the 2020-2021 school year and are eager to see the students reach their potential.
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
