On the morning of Tuesday, July 17, 2018 the heavy rain did not stop Jessica Lewis from venturing out to the Guilderland YMCA for her first day of volunteering. She will be contributing to the YMCA every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the process of working with the Living Resources, Inc. staff to find full-time employment. Her first duties involved scanning membership cards of the people coming into the facility to exercise. She will take on other responsibilities such as filing and working on the bulletin advertisements. We wish Jessica a lot of success…not luck. We find time and time again that our individuals are able to make their own luck with hard work and making a difference in the Albany community!

What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
