Centennial Movie Series: In April, the 2010s and 2020s. We’re showing a movie from each decade that Albany Public Library has been around. On Saturday April 6th, we’re showing: The Big Short (2015); This adaptation of the nonfiction book “The Big Short” explores the 2008 financial crisis through the lens of four unorthodox moneymen, who foresaw the consequences of the fraudulent mortgage-lending practices of large banks on Wall Street. Cast: Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Karen Gillan.
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
