Amy Maiorano succeeded in collecting so many cans over the past few weeks that this resulted in a veritable treasure trove of redeemable products. Her Volunteer Coordinator even took the liberty of dramatically enhancing her collection by bringing all of the cans and bottles from a friend’s 40th Birthday Celebration to give to Amy for these intentions. Amy’s staff is also quite passionate about recycling regardless of whether there is money involved and is happy to support her in this endeavor.

All in all, Amy ended up making fifteen dollars with all of her recycled cans and bottles! (The many receipts are featured within one of the photographs in one neat line. Amy is saving to go on a trip to Wildwood Crest, NJ with her peers this coming August. Even a little bit adds up to a great deal! If there is anybody in the Albany community who does not have the time to go to the supermarket to recycle their glass and aluminum products, be sure to contact her staff, Jesse Saperstein at JesseASaperstein@gmail.com and (845) 325-6152. We would be more than happy to take them off your hands to help Amy with this particular activity!
