Sara is a College Experience alumnus from the Class of 2015 who has been active with employment and volunteering endeavors since her graduation. Sara is a much-appreciated volunteer at Mercy Care for Kids and the Eddy, which are both run by St. Peter’s Health Partners.
Here is a photo of Sara enthusiastically reading a book to the preschool children at Mercy Care for Kids called, “Pout, Pout Fish” while turning the pages to the tune of the books’s audio CD. Sara (or “Miss Sara” as the children call her) is supported by Theresa Joslin who is the director of Mercy Care for Kids and her fellow staff members such as Miss Sharon.
Giving back to the community in the form of volunteering is highly encouraged by the College Experience and we are pleased to present an incredible individual who exemplifies these values!
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
