It is starting to sink in that the next three weeks represent the culmination of summer as our pool days are numbered. Fall will still offer lukewarm weather opportunities for fun things such as Halloween parades, apple, and pumpkin picking. But the Alumni Activities Club is starting to scramble to create as many outdoor activities as possible while the weather continues to remain pristine. The club recently traveled to Lake George for a cruise with the “Our House Social Group” on a day of wondrous warmth!

We are happy to present a new photo of the Walking Club taking in the lush scenery within the Pine Bush Preserve located on New Karner Road in Albany, NY on Monday, August 22, 2022. Jessica Lewis had a beautiful experience strolling the meandering path at her own, leisurely pace. We also recently walked all the way to the Park Playhouse in Washington Park to see “The Wedding Singer Show.” Plenty of the events within the Alumni Activities Club offer a chance for the participants to engage in physical activity with healthy food choices at the restaurants we frequent on these outings.
We have little doubts the alumni will continue to do an excellent job advocating for themselves by milking out what remains of summertime in addition to any possibilities during the Indian summer that extends throughout October.
