In the process of scheduling around thunderstorms and ominous rain clouds over the past few days, the Social Distance Walking Club finally had its day in the sun on Monday, July 13, 2020. Featured in this particular photograph (from left to right) are Nick Williams and Andrew Maggio who are alumni of the College Experience in the class of 2018 and 2014, respectively.
The pandemic has certainly affected their typical routines, but both are back in Albany practicing social distancing. Nick is still taking his acting classes via the Blue Horse Repertory Company (https://www.bluehorserepertory.com) on Zoom while Andrew has resumed his retail positions at Marshall’s and Burlington Coat Factory.
Nick and Andrew are both active members of the Alumni Activities Club who have suggested a decent number of activities that have been enjoyed by their peers including the occasional trip to New York City. Even if such possibilities are not a sensible option, right now, they are going to be waiting for us someday. In the meantime, life and fun will still go on during a pandemic.
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
