The College Experience is for young adults with intellectual disabilities

The College Experience is a certificate program that gives students with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to attend college, be part of a campus community, and take part in a program that helps them transition to independent adult life. Collaboratively developed by The College of Saint Rose and Living Resources, The College Experience program combines general education courses, elective courses, and real world living and job experiences.

CareerNext is for students with autism and learning differences

CareerNext – at SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Schenectady and Hudson Valley Community College – offers personalized academic and executive function support for students with autism and learning differences. It is focused on helping students who need guidance successfully complete an accredited Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree or Career Certificate as they transition out of High School or a previous college endeavor.
