The Media and Activities Liaison of the College Experience, Jesse Saperstein was inside the Barnes & Noble store in Poughkeepsie, NY where he was visiting his family in Dutchess County. All of a sudden, a couple of familiar faces emerged a few bookcases away. Jesse saw Ivy (in the middle of the first photo) and her best friend, Molly. They happily posed for a photo to commemorate the extreme coincidence of randomly running into their staff member about two hours away from Albany! Both of the ladies were escorted by Ivy’s parents, Valeria and John Clark.

Ivy and Molly were in Dutchess County to have fun and also take a horseback riding lesson. Both ladies are avid equestrians and a photo has been provided by the Clark family of Ivy gracefully jumping a fence with her trustworthy steed. Ivy has also carved out a stellar reputation for herself by working in the hotel industry in which she is starting out in the laundry department while already making efforts to work her way up to other opportunities.

We look forward to sharing more adventures of the individuals we serve within and outside our program!
