Palace Theatre College ExperienceThe ancient spirit of All Hallow’s Eve is alive and well here at the College Experience. On the afternoon of Sunday, October 28, 2018 four students traveled to the Palace Theatre for a special Family Day Showing of the 1993 Halloween classic, “Hocus Pocus” starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. For only $5.00, students enjoyed a huge screen experience of this film at one of the most iconic venues within the Capital Region since its construction by architect John Eberson all the way back in 1931!

Palace Theatre College ExperienceSean, Ra’Kwon, Tyler, and Alecia had the pre-Halloween Treat of posing with the beautiful, but malevolent, Sanderson Sisters straight out of this fantastical tale followed by a montage of Halloween nostalgia before the start of the feature film. As you can see from the background of the theatre photograph, there was a showing of the 1929 Silly Symphonies animated short, “The Skeleton Dance” created by the genius of Walt Disney.

We are proud of our students for showing leadership ability and encouraging their peers to join them for such adventures throughout the vast Capital Region of New York State!
