Marcela Mason, who is the assistant manager of the College Experience, took our students to see the fireworks at the State Capitol on Monday, July 4th. Here are some amazing photographs she captured from this adventure. (There are definitely benefits to our students living within walking distance from the State Capitol.) Our students stared in awe at the fireworks display that commemorated over 200 years of independence from a foreign power.
We hope that all of our families, students, friends, and loved ones had a safe Fourth of July this year. Our hearts are also extended toward Highland Park, Illinois where festivities were contaminated by tragedy.
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
