The College Experience and Living Resources, Inc. would like to emphasize how impressed we are by the ambition and leadership abilities of Danielle Passariello! Danielle has chosen to spearhead an upcoming fundraiser to raise money so her entire 2018-2020 class may go on an exciting senior trip by the end of the year. She has been quite busy collecting as many contributions as possible, and one local business even donated $1,000!!
The event will be on Friday, March 27, 2020 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Saint Andrew’s Church. There will be performances from members of the Saint Rose improv comedy club, Crate of Apes, The Golden Knights Dance Team, College Experience Hip Hop dancers, and a talk with the Rainbow Moon club that supports our LGBTQ population. There will also be raffle tickets to purchase for a chance to win incredible prizes. This event is open for all alumni.
Danielle and her peers have been scouring the community gathering donated items from local businesses for the raffle baskets, and we would be happy to know about any businesses that may want to make a contribution.
The students will be manning a table outside of the Camelot Room on the Saint Rose Campus on 3/16, 10-11 a.m.; 3/18, 10:30-11:30 a.m.; and 3/23, 10-11 a.m. to advertise the event to the Saint Rose community. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at that time as well including tickets for a 50/50 raffle.
Danielle said, “Everyone is invited!” Attached is a photograph that she has provided of her dressed up to attend the Best Buddies Ball this past February where Danielle also has a leadership position!
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
