Celebrate the launch of the New York State Museum’s powerful new exhibition, George Washington: An American Paradox. This opening reception explores the complex legacy of America’s first president—his triumphs and contradictions—through compelling artifacts and stories from New York’s Revolutionary past. The exhibit centers diverse voices and connects early ideals of liberty to ongoing movements for equality. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will feature local brews by Common Roots Brewing Company. Presented by the Albany 250th Commission.
