Make Music Albany is part of the global Fête de la Musique, a vibrant celebration of sound held every June 21 in over 700 cities worldwide. Open to musicians of all ages, genres, and skill levels, the event transforms Albany into a stage with performances on sidewalks, porches, patios, and parks. This community-driven celebration strengthens cultural ties, promotes local artists, and brings people together through music. Hosted by the City of Albany’s Office of Cultural Affairs, Make Music Albany invites everyone to participate—whether performing or simply enjoying the sounds of the city.
