Indian Ladder Farm Apple PickingIt is time to embrace the lukewarm temperature and vibrant foliage of fall. The arrival of this new season brings opportunities for nostalgic activities such as apple picking and carving Jack O’Lanterns. We want to honor these cherished traditions with all those receiving services in Living Resources, Inc. and the College Experience.

The next chapter of the College Experience continues for two enthusiastic alumni named, Amber and Nick who are paving a path in their first year of the Transitions Program. They joined three of their alumni peers and a staff member at Indian Ladder Farms on the date of Sunday, October 7, 2018 where they independently toured the area and gathered as many apples as could fit into the bag. Also available were apple cider donuts and various other tokens of autumn glory in the nearby store. Afterwards, everybody went to the Colonie Diner when the saturated clouds and subsequent rain put a damper on our apple picking adventure.Indian Ladder Farm Apple Picking

We are looking to take advantage of other activities such as the Headless Horseman Hayride and hiking as the season progresses!
