There is a time to work hard, and there is also Girl Scout Cookies time, too! It was the latter in the home of 2018 alumni, Nick Williams and Amber Reda on the evening of Friday, May 20, 2022. Both of them enjoyed their individual boxes of Thin Mint Cookies, which are the most popular brand sold by the Girl Scouts. Nick had just finished seeing the new Marvel Comics film, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” at the Madison Theatre. There was a troop of Girl Scouts selling their cookies in front of the theatre and Nick decided to support them by purchasing a box for himself and Amber. We thank them for allowing us to photograph them as Amber was about to watch the Disney movie, “Descendents 2,” which is about the offspring of classics Disney villains and how they navigate teenage strife while being celebrity children of famous parents.
The students and staff are always eager to support local organizations especially if cookies are part of the deal!
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
