About the Festival

The 4th annual New York’s State International Film Festival is a 2-day festival that is celebrating short films that are local, national and international. The different genres include drama, comedy, documentaries, experimental, horror, animation and music videos. This year’s host is actor Kevin Brown from the hit TV Show 30 Rock and many independent films. Festival door opens at 5:30 pm. There are Q/A panels, movies, popcorn, wine, beer and more!

New York State International Film Festival was created to celebrate the art with filmmakers and their audience. We strive to educate, support, entertain, and connect local and international artists through movies.

NYSIFF is determined to help and offer opportunities to artists and also the public. We hope to encourage you to make your own short film!

The festival will be held on October 11 – 12 at the Linda WACM’S Performing Art Studio. The NYSIFF is an non profit organization and an offical Film Festival of City of Albany. The festival has screened over 200 independent local national and international short films since 2016.
