The third Wednesday of every month, come learn about a fascinating aspect of science and the world around us. Our presenters will discuss a different topic each month.
This month’s discussion will be “String theory and the search for new ideas in Physics” by University at Albany Professor Daniel Robbins. Since the Higgs particle was found in 2012, we haven’t known precisely where to look for new phenomena. String theory, and ideas it has inspired, might help point the way to future discoveries
