Join us at Cafe Euphoria for a Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV) Celebration. We’ll start with the usual, music-centered Queer Open Mic, hosted by Shae Paradise (original content only, no cover songs please!), from 6-730pm. (Event link: https://fb.me/e/2A2s9Hm72)
Then get ready for a “Dress As You Wish” Trans/Queer/Non-Binary Fashion Show. This will be an inclusive TDoV celebration where everyone who is gender non-conforming is invited to dress as they wish, and walk the “runway” from the back of our house to the front, and back. Vogue it, or just walk as you normally would. We’ll announce each person, with name, pronouns, how you identify (if you wish), and whatever one line* you choose about what you’re wearing and your style. (*e.g. “black cocktail dress by Christian Dior” or “grunge look by Goodwill” – please keep this suitable for a 13+ audience). We’ll segue to a dance party afterwards.

What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
