Are you intrigued by Chinese calligraphy? Richard Wang, master calligrapher, feels called to share the meditative and expressive benefits of brush calligraphy beyond the Chinese community. While “Your Name in Chinese” is the well-established pattern of interaction between Chinese artist and curious non-Chinese person, Richard wants to promote the values and practices of this meditative and expressive art form. Breath to Brush is a workshop including hands-on experience with the brush, to make the art and practice of ShuFa accessible, free of charge, in public libraries and community centers. No experience necessary and all supplies are provided.

What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
