The College of Saint Rose presents “A Musical Celebration Gospel Brunch” on Saturday, March 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Massry Center for the Arts. The Gospel Brunch will feature a few of the College’s acapella groups, singer/songwriter Penny Sierra, spoken word artists, and Metropolitan NTM Baptist Church Mass Choir. The Metropolitan Mass Choir recently served at New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s inauguration. The afternoon will include a southern gospel brunch sampling to celebrate the rich history of gospel music. The event is free but registration is required, and there is a three-ticket limit per party.
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
